Finding your STEAM COD PATH:
METHOD 1:
This works for gamepass and steam: 1. Go to steam or gamepass
2. Create a desktop shortcut in the game settings usually under “manage” settings
3. Create the shortcut, return to your desktop
4. Right click the shortcut and copy as path and if you are windows 10, go to file explorer and go to desktop and you can copy path like this:
METHOD 2:
This works for STEAM & BNET
Click your windows key and type call of duty
Click on “Open file location”
NOTE: There may be an identical one that is bnet just check if there is steam when opening file location
Hover above the cod shortcut
Right click and click on “Copy As Path” (if you are windows 11)
When you paste it, there will be double quotation marks, make sure to remove them & save it somewhere you can easily access for next time
NOTE: MAKE SURE IT ENDS WITH ".url" which means it is steam.
WINDOWS 10: If you dont have the “Copy As Path” button it will probably be in the top header bit where the scissors icon is and the bin.
If you dont see the menu bar, click the small down arrow and uncheck “Minimize the Ribbon”.
Lastly open RUNOPTS file and enter the COD PATH in its section and set the ``Launcher`` to ``steam`` and fill out the rest of your settings.
Then you will see the menu bar show up and be able to see the “copy path” button.
